Meet our new Musical Director

 Tania Pratt – Vocal Coach & Musical Director

Tania brings over 20 years of experience as a singing teacher in independent schools, where she has nurtured the voices of young singers with care, knowledge, and enthusiasm. Passionate about helping people find confidence and joy in singing, she has a particular interest in adolescent and female voices and the challenges they face through time—an area she explored in depth through postgraduate research.

She is experienced across a wide range of musical genres, from classical to contemporary, and has helped many students through auditions to study voice or musical theatre at degree level. Tania’s classical students have secured places at leading higher education settings including Birmingham Conservatoire, Royal Northern College of Music, Royal Welsh College of Music, and Berklee. Musical theatre students are currently studying at Bird College, Itali Conti and Guildford School of acting. 

Alongside her teaching, Tania has an impressive track record as a musical director, having led productions of Miss SaigonOliver!AnnieFame the Musical, and Children of Eden. She is looking forward to bringing this same energy and musicality to her work with community groups, helping choirs connect through music and grow in confidence together.
